Karen Lockyer Make-up artist

Trained as a Beauty Therapist at Champneys Health Farm and got a good grounding in the world of beauty working in various salons and health clubs throughout London.

Having decided that make-up was her vocation she did her apprenticeship working as an assistant at London Fashion week and on numerous pop promos and fashion shoots.

Karen has since gone on to work for magazines, newspapers, fashion shows, advertising shoots, celebrity shoots and travelled the world using her skill.

After over 18 years in the business Karen also shares her knowledge teaching others and writing for various publications. She taught at London College of Fashion for three years and teaches photographic make-up at a private London make-up school.

Karen has started FabFace which has been created to inform women how to achieve a natural, no fuss image for the workplace and FabFace masterclass to guide women on different aspects of make-up.
